CopWatchGR is the first independent police violence monitoring network in Greece,
operating since November 2020. It was established during the Covid-19 pandemic,
a period of strict public health measures, to address the urgent need for documenting
and centralizing reports of escalating police violence. Even after the pandemic,
the necessity for such monitoring has remained unchanged.

We operate at the intersection of journalism, education, and culture, equipping
individuals and communities with tools to document, understand, and challenge
police misconduct.
